Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. It is a mutable water sign ruled
by Neptune and represented by 2 fish tied together, one going upstream
representing the soul, and the other swimming downstream representing
the personality. For the Pisces the struggle between lower and higher
being is most pronounced. Either the soul captures the personality and
does it's bidding or the soul is ensnared by the personality and loses
its way. That is why the phrase "serve or suffer" is used for
this sign.
Pisces rules the feet in the physical body and our faith and belief in
things un-provable. We walk upon our faith in life. When our soul is troubled
the souls of our feet feel it. Pisces are incredibly intuitive and many
psychics are born under this sign. But there is a deep-rooted inferiority
complex in many of these people. Always trying to satisfy the need to
help they feel incomplete no matter how much they do. This leads to overwork
and they can suffer from exhaustion. They tend to ignore the physical
body, which often leads to health problems.
This sign make excellent musicians and artists of all sorts. Because of
their love for creative ventures you will find many Pisces working in
the arts even in a business capacity. The desire to be close to creative
people is strong. Their desire to help humanity also makes them good doctors
and, like the opposite sign Virgo, excellent nurses. Because of the strong
spiritual side these people will at times appear spaced out, as if they
are looking at something we cannot see. They are. It is a separate reality
for this sign and those who know them take it with a grain of salt. The
Pisces will tell you 8:00 P.M. and mean it; they just somehow don't quite
make it.
In love affairs they are emotional and loving. Just remember that the
Pisces is looking for a spiritual, universal love of humanity. This can
be difficult in a one-on-one coupling. While the Cancer waits on a street
corner in the cold for his Pisces date she is sidetracked for 2 hours
helping a homeless person get a bite to eat. It never occurs to the Pisces
that there is anything wrong until she sees the Cancer's face frozen into
a grimace in front of Starbuck's.
